Great News!

We're pregnant! I'm 9 weeks along, and we've now been to the doctor to hear the heartbeat and know that it is a viable pregnancy. The baby is due on April 27.

So, Brayden wore this t-shirt to tell our parents while we were on a trip to see Greg's family in Texas and celebrate my grandpa's 84th in Florida. We decided to not say anything and just see how long they'd take to notice. We thought the blatant long sleeves in Texas and Florida heat, along with the abnoxiously large embroidered print would make it practically impossible to miss. I'm proud to say that G's family noticed within about 4 minutes. My folks, on the other hand, didn't notice after two hours, so I finally had to mention that they never read Brayden's shirt. Guess I won't be trying that approach again in the future.

Are you sure he was wearing THAT shirt? It's so obvious!! (I must have been looking at his heart rather than reading his shirt. Yeah, that's it!!) -- Love, Dad D. PS -- if you're about a month late you can have #2 on my birthday! Wouldn't that be exciting.
