10 Year Reunion
Last night was my 10 year high school reunion. The whole event was great but a little surreal--many of these people were my closest friends at one time but I've not kept up with them at all. It was great to see them again!
I worked the registration table which meant I saw everyone that walked in the door (great!) but also had to remember people's names (hard!) --some people look just the same and others seem familiar but no memories come to mind.
Ah, wonderful reminiscing....

my best high school memories:
- Mr. Edwards telling me I wouldn't need math in life
- hanging out with the girls in the bathroom at prom avoiding our dates
- the lunch spot
- going to the flea market with Lis
- Mr. Ferguson encouraging me to pursue writing

Winning the game we were never supposed to win.
Fishing and camping out a the Big Tank.
Golfing with my friends.
Being on the KTXS academic challenge.
And yes... playing chess in Mr. Kuhn's class with Mr. Kuhn and Tushar.
